Keeping up with the eerie feel from the last post, here are some creepy Victorian style houses by Mike Doyle.

By the way, they’re made with Legos. And only Legos.

Hilary Berseth uses an unusual tool to form his sculptures, Bees. He creates base forms out of wire and thread that are architecturally complimentary to the bees natural instinct to form proportional patterns. Using this, and his extensive knowledge/experience with bees, he creates new works.

I don’t know if it’s the fact I’m a from a state known for its auto industry, like fast-paced action movies, or have an uncle who has helped design concept cars, but I’ve always liked auto design. So, of course, these swollen cars by Erwin Wurm struck my fancy. Cars without dents and scratches are sleek and everything is in place, so to see a car blown up and lumpy with the paint job still intact catches my attention. It’s a wonderful take on sculpture these days. Wurm is my new favorite sculptor (check out the rest of his work!), that’s for sure.

What looks like just a pile of junk is actually amazing art.
