For Paramount’s 100 year anniversary, Devastudios has created a new logo for the film studio. A different angle, wider view, a sunrise, and a more realistic rendering make for a fantastic update to an iconic logo. I really cannot wait to see this on a big screen at the theatre. I bet it’s it’s even more gorgeous animated.
I really shouldn’t be anyone’s first choice of movie date. I’m really better off watching them alone. I ask questions, exclaim discoveries out loud, have my computer open so IMDB can be easily accessible, and then I usually insist on shuffling around the extra features when it’s said and done (especially if there’s a lot of technical aspects to the movie). I think it’s just because I like seeing how things are made. So, imagine my delight when I found this collection of Behind the Scene shots from some big name movies. My day was essentially made.
If you’ll excuse me, I’m off to listen to the Tron commentary again.

Spacesick has been taking the concepts of popular movies and turning them into book covers reminescent of of Penguin book covers from the 50s and 60s. They’re gorgeously done.
