Saul Bass only ever illustrated one children’s book. That book has recently been republished by Rizzoli/Universe.
Henri’s Walk to Paris is quintessentially Saul Bass with brightly colored and bold illustrations and a bit of mystery (all you ever see of Henri is his legs). I hear the story is rather mediocre, but I don’t care. This is Bass illustrating a kid’s book.
Is it wrong that I don’t have any kids of my own and I’m seriously considering buying this book?
